The first lesson of economics is scarcity- there is never enough of anything to fully satisfy all those who want it .

As an Economist I believe the thirst for knowledge and education can never be satisfied and this thought may be has lead my journey to what I'm today.

As a child, I always use to wonder how the opportunity cost rules our lives. It's the money and time that are the most dominating variables that drives every economic agent. I tried to make optimum utilisation of resources i.e time and money by pursuing BMS in finance and then I worked at different organisations. However, spend most of my corporate experience at TCS as Senior Associate and proved myself as a valuable resources to the organisation by receiving a GreenBelt in Innovation where I could reduce two productive hours into three minutes of CITI Mortgage.

Nevertheless my desire for knowledge has made me add one more feather to my hat by pursing MA in Economics at Mumbai School of Economics and Public Policy. This has further enhanced my interest in economics. It has helped me to develope a new mindset by finding it's relevance in real world and work for the betterment of society.

This has led me to move to teaching profession and I worked as lecture and Assistant professor at various college in Mumbai. I cleared NET and SET Exam which qualifies me to be an Assistant Professor. I published various research papers and attended workshops on revising syllabus of undergraduates.

Currently serving at VSIT as Assistant Professor, provided me a platform to contribute to a change in the society by providing quality education along with its practical orientation. Looking forward for self discovery as It is said that the teacher makes the difference, not classroom and they make stories with the right combination of chalk and challenge. Over a period of six years of experience in this profession, I taught different papers of Economics like Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, International Economics, History of Economics thoughts, Environmental Economics and Quantitative methods. However my personal interest includes writing poems, reading and painting. Currently I'm Planning for Ph.D in Economics to widen my thinking and contribute to the society.
